"Love at Dangerous Speeds" follows Violet, a young woman who flees her abusive fiancé Rupert on their wedding day. Seeking refuge, she crosses paths with Marcus, a notorious street racer who agrees to protect her as she tries to escape the life she desperately wants to leave behind.

Marcus and Violet enter into an arrangement where he agrees to protect her in exchange for a kiss and that gradually develops into a deeper relationship. Their growing bond is complicated by a revelation from Marcus's past: the hit-and-run accident that has haunted him for years claimed the life of Violet's father.

As Rupert continues his efforts to regain control over Violet, she must decide whether she can forgive Marcus for his connection to her family's tragedy or return to the life she fought to escape.

In a short behind-the-scenes interview, Mary Vysnevska summarized the premise of the series through the perspective of her character.

“So Violet is running away from her abusive husband and accidentally she finds herself in the room of some guy who looks very dangerous and sexy and flirty and stuff and she asked him for help and he says, ‘Okay, I'll help you.’”

Nazar Grabar described Marcus as a man struggling with the consequences of his past.

“Marcus is in a very dark place after his past, but then he met [sic] an angel savior and she pull [sic] him out of that world and he gets the second chance to live his life.”

Grabar added that the relationship between Marcus and Violet ultimately becomes a story about helping one another move forward.

Nazar Grabar as Marcus

Nazar Grabar plays Marcus, a charismatic street racer on parole who initially appears tough and intimidating but is burdened by guilt over a fatal accident from his past. Throughout the series, Marcus repeatedly places himself at risk to protect Violet from those seeking to control or harm her.

Born on September 20, 1992, Grabar is a Ukrainian dancer, actor, model, blogger, veteran, and volunteer. He became known through his television appearances, music video work, military service during Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, and subsequent charity efforts.

Vertical drama viewers may also recognize him from "Spark Me Tenderly," where he played Eric Brighton, and "Overdrive to My Heart," where he portrayed Christopher Rossi. He was also in “The Shy Beauty and the Billionaire Beast,” “The Fae King,” and “The Billionaire’s Backup Bride.”

Mary Vysnevska as Violet

Mary Vysnevska stars as Violet, a young woman attempting to escape an abusive relationship while carrying emotional scars from her father's death. Her encounter with Marcus introduces her to a new chapter in her life, even as secrets from the past threaten to complicate their future.

Born on August 24, 1995, Vysnevska is a Ukrainian actress and model who has appeared in web series, television productions, films, and short films. She speaks English and Ukrainian and also has knowledge of French and Polish.

She previously appeared in the vertical drama "Taken by the Italian" as Kira. She also appeared opposite Grabar in “Stuck with the Spoiled Heiress” and “The Fighter Who Stole My Pulse.”

Oleksandr Rudko as Rupert

Oleksandr Rudko portrays Rupert, Violet's controlling fiancé and the primary antagonist of the story. Although he presents himself as polished and respectable, Rupert uses intimidation, manipulation, and violence in his efforts to maintain control over Violet.

Born in Kyiv on February 16, 1989, Rudko is a Ukrainian theater and film actor with experience in stage combat, athletics, music, and dance. His skills include fencing, boxing, football, swimming, and playing multiple musical instruments.

His previous vertical drama credits include Chester Akroyd in "Chained by Her Love" and Marcus in "His Holy Obsession."

Oleksandra Pankova as Courtney

Oleksandra Pankova plays Courtney, Marcus's former partner. Beneath her friendly exterior, Courtney harbors a deep obsession with Marcus and becomes involved in efforts to separate him from Violet.
