Noah Andre: Embracing Vertical Dramas While Chasing Bigger Dreams
Noah Andre never expected acting to become his career, let alone vertical dramas. One unexpected audition changed his perspective and opened the door to a fast-growing corner of the entertainment industry.
Before Noah Andre found himself starring in vertical dramas, his dream looked very different. Music was his first passion, but a high school production of “Romeo and Juliet” unexpectedly changed the direction of his life, setting him on a path toward acting while inspiring him to pursue even bigger ambitions for the future.

From Music to the Stage
Andre didn't always picture himself as an actor.
Growing up, he dreamed of becoming a singer and songwriter. That changed during his senior year of high school when he was cast as Romeo in a production of “Romeo and Juliet.” The experience sparked a passion for acting that quickly grew into something much bigger.
After graduating, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue the craft professionally. Along the way, he trained in the Meisner, Alba, and Uta Hagen techniques while building experience through independent films, television projects, and theater.
Before entering the world of vertical dramas, Andre had already accumulated several lead roles in short films and television while continuing to develop his skills as a performer.
His background also extends beyond acting, with credits in casting and sound departments, reflecting an interest in filmmaking from multiple perspectives.

Discovering Vertical Dramas
Like many actors entering the genre, Andre wasn't immediately convinced that vertical dramas were for him.
During an interview in October 2025, he admitted that he was initially "very sort of anti-vertical," believing the format wasn't the direction he wanted to take.
After discussing it with his manager, however, he decided to give it a chance and auditioned for what became his first vertical series, “Cheer Up, Baby!”
The experience completely changed his perspective.
Sharing photos from the set after production wrapped, Andre described the project as an "amazing time" and praised the cast and crew, saying he couldn't have been happier with how the series turned out.

The production also introduced him to the unique pace of vertical filmmaking. Compared with traditional film projects, Andre found himself memorizing far more dialogue, filming numerous scenes each day, and adapting to the fast-moving production schedule.
While challenging at first, those experiences helped him grow more confident as an actor and gave him a new appreciation for the genre.
Building Momentum in Vertical Dramas
Following “Cheer Up, Baby!,” Andre quickly became a familiar face across the vertical drama landscape.
His growing résumé includes projects such as “Life Is Not a Game,” “Secret Society: Till Blood Do Us Part,” “Study Buddy,” “Roommate Benefits: The Governor's Son,” “The Seduction Game,” “Faking It with the Hockey Captain,” “Falling for My Bodyguard,” “XOXO, He Dumped the Queen Bee for Me,” and several others.

Each role has presented new opportunities to stretch as an actor. Andre has portrayed everything from charming romantic leads to more emotionally complex characters, embracing the fast pace and variety that have become hallmarks of the vertical drama industry.
One memorable challenge came during “Cheer Up, Baby!,” where he filmed his first intimate scene. Andre admitted feeling nervous about stepping outside his comfort zone, especially with an entire production crew present.
Looking back, however, he credited his co-star Halle Fletcher and the production team for creating a professional environment that helped him navigate the experience with confidence.
The success of his early vertical projects has also introduced Andre to a growing audience. He shared that he continues to gain new followers through the genre and has even experienced being recognized in public—something he described as both surprising and a blessing.
Staying Grounded While Looking Forward
Although Andre now proudly describes himself as "Team Vertical," he remains honest about his long-term ambitions.

He sees vertical dramas as an exciting and rapidly growing part of the entertainment industry and hopes to continue working within the format.
At the same time, he continues pursuing opportunities in traditional film and television, describing them as the direction where his heart ultimately lies.
That outlook is shaped by a simple philosophy he tries to live by: "In all labor there is profit." Whether he's auditioning, rehearsing, filming, or learning something new, Andre believes every experience contributes to his growth, helping him become a stronger performer while opening doors to future opportunities.
Outside acting, he continues writing music, staying active through sports and fitness, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.

A Career Just Beginning
At just 20 years old, Andre has already built experience across theater, independent film, television, and one of entertainment's fastest-growing formats. While his aspirations continue to reach beyond vertical dramas, he has embraced the opportunities the genre has provided and the audience it has introduced him to.
For Noah Andre, every project is another chance to learn, improve, and move one step closer to the career he has envisioned since discovering a love for performing. And if his early momentum is any indication, that journey is only getting started.
