Many fans are discovering several new heartthrobs thanks to micro-dramas. One of the best is Luca Pietro, the warm-hearted actor who's shocked by the influence of these stories.

Some people discover what they want to do early in life, while others have to search deeper to find their true passion. Luca Pietro knew his goal from a young age, but he probably had no idea that he would be leading micro-dramas.

These projects are truly changing the game for the content and storytelling industry, providing more opportunities for artists to hone their craft and get their name out there. Let's get to know Pietro, his work in this industry, and what happened during Verticon.

Luca Pietro: A Kid with a Clear Dream

According to his IMDB bio, Pietro discovered he wanted to become an actor in his early childhood. He began modeling rather young and soon got his first film role at the age of seven in "Silent Words," a small independent movie.

Therefore, he became a theater major at Bak Middle School of the Arts in West Palm Beach, Florida. Later on, Pietro deviated from his original passion for a while, as he began playing baseball, but an injury pushed him toward modeling and acting again.

He began doing magazine work, runway shows, and UGC content at the age of 17 after landing a deal with a modeling agency in Miami. The actor later appeared in other independent projects like "Escape" directed by Jill Minton and got a small part in Discovery's "Something Bit Me."

Latin music fans may have even seen him in the music video for "Baloncito Viejo," sung by Camilo and Carlos Vives. He was later cast as Kirk Reese and worked as a producer in "Reese Enterprises," which is available on Amazon Prime.

Luca Pietro: Stepping into Verticals

Finally, he entered the world of micro-dramas in 2024. In a small April 2025 interview for the Meet the Creatives section of Vertical Drama Love, Pietro explained that he learned about these projects from his manager.

At the time, he was still filming "Taming Mr. Champion" in China, but his role as a Formula 1 driver quickly became a favorite. When asked about the craziest thing he had done working in verticals, Pietro said it was getting soaked by a water truck in the freezing cold.

The actor also explained that he wished assistant directors got more credit than they do in this business and that people understood how vertical dramas are all about connections. He just hopes for more niche topics and original stories in the industry.

Pietro has also appeared in other projects like "Mated to My Fiance's Alpha Daddy," "My Step-Brother Is My Ex?!" "My Secret Lover Is My Bestie's Son," "Unexpected Love with the Hidden Billionaire," "The Virgin Stripper and the Hockey Star," and "Fired, Framed and Fierce."

Luca Pietro: Making an 'Impact' with Fans

One of his most recent dramas was "Coming of Age" with Erin Kuykendall. Both actors appeared together during an October 2025 interview with Vertical Drama Queen to talk more about this project, but also about their personal opinions and experiences.

Pietro was asked what surprised him more about working in this field. "It's the pacing. It's so fast, and you got to know your lines like on the dot because there's a very, very strict schedule, and everyone's trying to get home, everyone's trying to complete the project," he responded.

The interviewer also brought up VertiCon, a convention for vertical drama fans and their audiences, inquiring about the actor's experience there. Pietro revealed that he felt extremely touched because the fans who approached him were great.

"I loved hearing all their stories. Some of them were sad, which I didn't know how to take sometimes, because [...] you don't really realize the impact you have until you hear it from other people," he explained. "And for me, I'm still young, so I didn't know that I could have an impact on someone older than me in an emotional way. So, it was very nice to see and hear."

During the conversation, Pietro explained that "Coming of Age" was the kind of drama best-suited for him because he was still young. He could relate to this character much more than to older billionaire heirs, which he has done before.

The rest of the interview focused on how they got the vibes for this micro-drama from 2000s romcoms and also talked about their time on set.
