While many fans first encountered him through social media, Manning has increasingly focused on acting in recent years, adding a growing list of screen credits to a résumé that already includes modeling and content creation.

Long before audiences discovered him through acting roles, Blake Manning was building a following online through dance videos, lifestyle content, and an upbeat approach to social media.

What began as a creative outlet during his teenage years eventually opened doors in modeling, acting, and entertainment, helping him build a career that extends far beyond the platforms where he first found an audience.

Going Viral One Video at a Time

Manning's journey began in December 2019 when he started posting videos on social media. At the time, he was simply looking for a creative way to entertain people and share some positivity.

"I started posting just for fun because I loved to entertain people, make people laugh, and bring positivity to the world," he said.

The videos quickly found an audience. What started as dance content soon grew into a social media presence that attracted millions of followers across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

Reflecting on those early days, Manning said he never expected social media to become a career.

"I didn't even mean to go viral. I was just dancing and a million views later, I started to really think like, wow, this could like actually be my career."

As his audience grew, so did his sense of responsibility. Throughout multiple interviews, he repeatedly emphasized authenticity, positivity, and creating content that people could relate to.

"My personal brand is authenticity and positivity and to be happy with who you are," he shared in 2023.

Finding Success in Modeling

Social media success soon led to opportunities in another industry: modeling.

Through connections made as his online following expanded, Manning signed with LA Models and began appearing in campaigns for major brands including BOSS, DICK'S Sporting Goods, Nike, Adidas, Puma, JCPenney, Fashion Nova, Curology, and others.

Manning has worked with a number of major brands, but one experience that stood out was seeing himself featured in DICK'S Sporting Goods stores across the United States, a placement he only discovered after someone sent him a photo.

The experience introduced him to a new side of the entertainment business but also taught him about rejection. In an October 2023 interview, Manning spoke candidly about the realities of auditions and go-sees, noting that aspiring models often face far more rejection than success.

Rather than becoming discouraged, he learned to view those experiences as part of the process, saying, "Not all jobs were meant for you and many more will come to you."

Why Acting Became the Goal

While social media and modeling helped establish his public profile, acting was becoming an increasingly important focus.

After enrolling at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, Manning chose to major in Theatre Arts. His coursework included script analysis, film studies, and acting training, all while balancing classes, social media responsibilities, and athletics.

In a November 2023 interview, he explained what drew him to acting.

"I love it because it's an escape."

Manning said acting appeals to him because it allows him to explore different characters and experiences, offering a path that feels more dynamic than a traditional desk job.

Outside of school, he also attended acting classes in Los Angeles, making regular trips to continue developing his skills.

Sports, Discipline, and Work Ethic

Long before social media or acting entered the picture, sports played a major role in Manning's life.

Growing up, Manning played both baseball and basketball before eventually focusing on the latter. He has described basketball as an important outlet in his life and has credited Kobe Bryant's mentality and work ethic as a major source of inspiration.

That same mindset appears throughout his approach to social media, school, modeling, and acting. Across multiple interviews, he frequently emphasized commitment, consistency, and following through on responsibilities.

Expanding Into Acting

His IMDb credits include projects such as "The Right Hook," "Beauty and the Billionaire," "Sex Education with My Enemy Stepbrother," "High School Heiress," "Step Into Speed," and "Hate to Love You."

The projects represent the latest chapter in a career that has steadily expanded from social media into multiple areas of entertainment.

While his audience first discovered him through viral videos, Manning has made it clear that he views acting as an important part of his future.

From viral TikTok videos and national modeling campaigns to theater studies and acting roles, he has steadily expanded his opportunities while staying focused on the values that helped him build an audience in the first place.

For Manning, the goal has never been fame alone. Whether through social media, modeling, or acting, he has consistently returned to the same idea: creating something positive, being authentic, and continuing to grow along the way.
